Delicious, loved by many, and a staple of feasts in India, shahi paneer is a popular dish in Indian cuisine. Shahi means ‘royal’, which refers to the dish’s Mughlai origins. Without further ado, have a look at the recipe of this amazing dish!
Ingredients
- 1 onion (Sliced)
- 4 tomatoes (Chopped)
- 0.5 inch ginger (Chopped)
- 6 cloves
- 2 pieces of chopped garlic
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. Garni Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp. Garni Red Chilli Powder
- ½ taspoon Garni Kasuri Methi
- 200gms Paneer Cubes
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp. cream
- 1 tsp. ginger (cut in thin strips)
- 1 tbsp. coriander leaves (chopped)
- 2 green chillies (cut open)
- salt
Instructions
- Pressure cook the onions, tomatoes, and garlic with half a cup of water. Blend it into a paste.
- Take a pan and heat the butter in it. Add Garni Coriander Powder, Garni Red Chilli Powder, Garni Kasuri Methi and the paneer cubes. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add everything to paneer while letting it boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour the shahi paneer on a plate and garnish it with the coriander leaves.
